    • Technology News Report: A study has made significant progress in the treatment mechanism of knee osteoarthritis (KOA). This study revealed the potential mechanism by which knee osteoarthritis II and adipose derived stem cell exosomes (ADSC Exos), when applied alone or in combination, improve cartilage degeneration and mitochondrial autophagy through in-depth observation. The expert team carefully designed an experimental plan, dividing 40 SD rats into five groups, establishing a KOA model through anterior cruciate ligament transection (ACLT), and evaluating the rats' pain sensitivity and degree of degeneration of knee joint and cartilage tissue. Meanwhile, various advanced technologies such as immunofluorescence, enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay, and protein immunoblotting were utilized to investigate the changes in relevant biomarkers in depth. The research results show that both Qianbining II and ADSC Exos can effectively enhance the level of mitochondrial autophagy in chondrocytes, thereby delaying cartilage tissue degeneration. When used in combination, the effect is more significant. This discovery provides a new strategy for the treatment of KOA, which is expected to bring good news to many patients. The successful implementation of this study not only brings new breakthroughs to the treatment field of KOA, but also provides useful references for the research of other related diseases. In the future, with the in-depth study of this mechanism, we are expected to witness the birth of more innovative treatment methods.
