    • Modified Weijingtang Regulates Pyroptosis of Macrophages via Caspase-1/GSDMD Pathway

    • The intervention effect of modified reed stem soup on RAW264.7 macrophage apoptosis model and its impact on apoptosis pathway have been extensively studied. Researchers have found through simulating a macrophage pyroptosis model that the modified reed stem soup can effectively reduce cell pyroptosis and improve cell morphology. In addition, the study also revealed that the modified reed stem soup may inhibit macrophage pyroptosis and reduce the release of inflammatory factors IL-18 and IL-1 β by downregulating the Caspase-1/GSDMD pathway. This discovery provides new ideas and methods for the treatment of non-alcoholic fatty liver disease, and is expected to lay the foundation for research and development in related fields.
