“A paper abstract on the treatment of liver qi invading spleen syndrome in diarrhea predominant irritable bowel syndrome (IBS-D) with Tong Xie Ning granules has been released. This abstract systematically reviews the existing clinical evidence of Tongxingning granules and conducts a comprehensive value evaluation from the "6+1" dimension. The evaluation results show that Tongxingning granules have demonstrated good safety, effectiveness, and economy in the treatment of IBS-D, while also being innovative and suitable, with moderate price and high accessibility. In addition, the drug is derived from a classic formula and has outstanding traditional Chinese medicine characteristics. The comprehensive evaluation score is 0.83, indicating that there is sufficient evidence of the clinical value of Tongxie Ning granules in treating IBS-D liver qi invading spleen syndrome. This study provides important references for clinical decision-making and pharmaceutical management. In the future, it is recommended to further conduct network meta-analysis to improve the evidence-based quality of Tongxingning granules and fully leverage their clinical value advantages.”
