Relationship between "Nutrients-intestinal Flora" and Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus Based on Theory of "Linkage between Spleen and Small Intestine"
更新时间:2024-07-04
    • Relationship between "Nutrients-intestinal Flora" and Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus Based on Theory of "Linkage between Spleen and Small Intestine"

    • The theory of "connecting the spleen and small intestine" put forward by physicians in the Ming Dynasty provided a new idea for the clinical prevention and treatment of type 2 diabetes. Traditional Chinese medicine believes that the spleen and small intestine cooperate physiologically and influence each other pathologically. Modern medical research shows that proper nutrient intake and intestinal flora balance are essential to prevent diabetes. Combining the physiological function of "spleen small intestine" and the modern medical research of "nutrients intestinal flora", this paper discusses the pathogenesis and treatment strategies of type 2 diabetes, providing a theoretical basis for clinical prevention and treatment.
