Effect of Icariin on Myocardial Remodeling in Rats Based on Vitamin D Regulation of Dendritic Cell Phenotype

“The latest research has found that icariin can regulate blood pressure, cardiac structural and functional damage, myocardial fibrosis in Dahl salt sensitive rat myocardial remodeling model, inhibit the maturation of cardiac DCs phenotype function, affect VDR, CYP24A1, CYP27B1 mRNA and protein expression, intervene in Th17/Treg balance, and may exert its effect by regulating vitamin D/VDR in cardiac tissue.”
