ملخص

من خلال الرجوع إلى الأعمال العظمى في توثيق الأعشاب الطبية عبر العصور والكتب الطبية والكتب الطبية القديمة وغيرها من المصادر، وباستخدام المواد البحثية المتاحة حاليًا، قام الكاتب بتنظيم وتأكيد اسم الجاث الكبير وأصله واسمه العلمي وأجزاء النبات المستخدمة في الطب ومواطن نشأته وجمعه ومحصوله وتاريخ تحضيره وفوائده واستخداماته بطريقة منهجية، بهدف توفير أساس لتطوير الصيغ الكلاسيكية التي تحتوي على هذا النوع من المواد الطبية. واعتمادا على البحث، فإن اسم الجاث الكبير ظهر أولا في كتاب شين نون الأعشاب، وأستخدم طوال العصور مع هذا الاسم، وكان له بعض الأسماء البديلة مثل كونغ جو، وجاث الأحمر، و الفهد الأسفل. وكان الوسيلة الرئيسية التي حصل بها الناس على الجاث الكبير هي جذور نبات الجاث الكبير Euphorbia pekinensis، وقبل عهد المن، كانت بعض الأعمال العظمى وثائقية تستخدم أجزاء أعلى الجاث للعلاج، ولكن منذ اقترح لي شي جينا في عهد المن، أصبح من الواضح أن الفهد لا يستخدم في الطب بعد الآن. في العصر الحديث ظهر استخدام لجذور نبات الجاث الكبير Knoxia valerianoides، وأصبح هذا النوع الأكثر شيوعا، ويجب تصحيح ذلك. وقد ذكرت أعمال العظمى عبر العصور أن أماكن مصدر الجاث الكبير الرئيسية تشمل جيانغ سو وأنهوى وتشجيانغ وشانشي إلخ. واستجوبت الأعمال البيولوجية الحديثة أن الجاث الكبير موزع على نطاق واسع في الصين، ويمكن العثور عليه في جميع أنحاء البلاد؛ كان تقليم الجذور في القديم يكون في الشهر الثاني من العام التقويمي، واليوم يتم حفرها في فصلي الخريف والشتاء؛ الطرق القديمة للتحضير شملت حرقها بالخل، وحرقها بالكحول، وقليها برفق، والعصر الحديث يشمل الخل فقط. من ناحية الخصائص الطبية والسريرية، فإن أعمال العظمى خلال العصور أكدت بشكل أساسي على أن الفهد له نكهة مرة وطبيعته باردة، وهو سام، وتركز أهم فوائده على استخدامه كملين للماء ومسكن للتورم وتفريغ الكتل. بناء على نتائج البحوث، يوصى باستخدام جذور نبات الجاث الكبير Euphorbia pekinensis الجافة في الصيغ الكلاسيكية القديمة، واستخدام طريقة تحضير محددة وردت في النص الأصلي بعد التحضير.
