أصبح سرطان الثدي أكثر الأورام الخبيثة شيوعًا بين النساء، ويشكل تهديدًا خطيرًا على صحة وحياة النساء حول العالم. عوامل الإصابة بسرطان الثدي وآلية نشأته وتطوره معقدة ومتنوعة. تتدرج خلايا الثدي من التضخم العادي إلى التضخم غير النمطي، ومن التغيرات قبل السرطانية إلى السرطان، وهو عملية تطور تدريجية طويلة الأمد. لذلك، فإن الفحص المبكر والوقاية من سرطان الثدي لهما أهمية خاصة. العلاجات الغربية لسرطان الثدي أصبحت ناضجة نسبياً، وتعتمد بشكل رئيسي على الجراحة والعلاج النظامي، لكن الأعراض الجانبية والمضاعفات الناتجة غالبًا ما تثقل كاهل المرضى؛ وتعتمد العلاجات للآفات قبل السرطانية أيضًا بشكل رئيسي على الجراحة. في السنوات الأخيرة، بدأت العلاجات الطبية الصينية في إظهار مزاياها في الوقاية وعلاج سرطان الثدي، وأظهرت أبحاث متزايدة أن التركيبات العشبية الصينية، أو الأعشاب المفردة، أو التركيبات الثنائية، والمركبات المستخلصة منها تستطيع من خلال تأثيرات متعددة الأهداف تنظيم عدة مسارات إشارية داخل الخلايا، مما يمكنها من تثبيط تكاثر وغزو الخلايا السرطانية، وتحفيز موت الخلايا المبرمج والالتهام الذاتي، وتنظيم دورة الخلية والبيئة المناعية الدقيقة، وبالتالي تؤدي إلى تأثيرات مضادة للورم، بالإضافة إلى تخفيف الآثار الجانبية للعلاج الإشعاعي والكيميائي وتقليل مقاومة المرضى للعلاج بشكل ملحوظ. ومع ذلك، فإن الآليات الدقيقة التي تعمل من خلالها الطب الصيني في الوقاية وعلاج سرطان الثدي والآفات قبل السرطانية لم تُفهم بالكامل بعد. ولا تزال الدراسات المعنية بتنظيم مسارات الإشارة الكلاسيكية المتعلقة بسرطان الثدي مثل مسار فوسفوليبيد إنوزيتول 3-كيناز (PI3K)/بروتين كيناز B (Akt)/المستهدف بواسطة رابامايسين في الثدييات (mTOR)، ومسار Wnt/β-كاتينين، ومسار Notch تناقش بشكل معقد ومتداخل، ولا تزال هناك حاجة إلى مزيد من الدراسات السريرية والبيطرية للتحقق من ذلك. بناءً عليه، تستعرض هذه المقالة التقدم البحثي المحلي والدولي الحديث لاستخدام الطب الصيني في التدخل في مسارات الإشارة ذات الصلة للوقاية وعلاج سرطان الثدي والآفات قبل السرطانية، لتلخيص وتوفير إطار عمل لفهم الآليات المحتملة وتأمين مرجعية للأبحاث المستقبلية.
