Für die entscheidenden pathologischen Abschnitte wurden drei Hauptbehandlungsstrategien entwickelt: Milzstärkung und Schleimauflösung, Blutaktivierung und Stauauflösung sowie Unterstützung und Auffüllung der positiven Energie, die in Kombination mit moderner medizinischer Forschung deren Wirkmechanismen durch Regulierung des Lipidstoffwechsels, Hemmung der Entzündungsreaktion und Modulation des Energiestoffwechsels bei Prävention und Behandlung panvaskulärer Erkrankungen erklären. Diese theoretische Systematik soll die TCM-Differenzialdiagnose und Behandlung panvaskulärer Erkrankungen bereichern und theoretische Unterstützung für die Entwicklung eines TCM-spezifischen Präventions- und Behandlungskonzepts bieten.
