摘要:Neurotensin and ACTH are neuropeptids as endogenous cryogensin central nervous system, BOdy temperature was rapidly decreased when[D Tyr"] neurotensin(NT) or ACTH was administered in cerebroventricular injec-tion(icv)in normal rats.The hypothermic action of NT was dose一dependentpattern and related to environmentaI temperature. Oral administration of 10gcrude drug/Kg Guizhi decoction(GZD)one hour before icv of NT could an-tagonize the hypothermia. But this antagonistic effect was not observed in the ex-periment with ACTH treatment.The results indicated that NT was involved inthe mechanism of dual directional thermoregulation by GZD,but the role ofACTH in the thermoregulation was unclear.  
摘要:According to the inhibitory effects on the picryl chloride(PC)-induced delayed type hypersensitivity,separation and qualitative analysis were carried out on effective principles of the aqueous extract from Ermiao powder.The resuIt indicates that the alkaloids contained in the extract are one of active components with immunosuppressive action.

摘要:A Chinese drug formula Tangpingbao is composed of some Chinese herbs and used to treat diabetes. Hypoglycemic aetivity of Tangpingbao wasinvestigated in kunnming mice. Tangpingbao was found to smooth the hyperglycemia caused by starch-loading at both normal and alloxan-induced diabetic mice. But it did not decrease hyperglycemia caused by glucose. We came tothe conclusion that Tangpingbao is an amylase inhibitor decreasing intraluminalamylase activity on starch digestion.  
摘要:Using Langendorff’s device for coronary artery ligation and reperfusion,effects of Zhigancao decoctoin on myocardial damage induced by ligating and reperfusing descending anterior branch of coronary artery were studied in isolated rat hearts.Zhigancao decoction at a dose of 8g/L was found to produce a marked reduction in the incidence of VT during ligation(ishenua) ,VF after reperfusion, and arrhythmia in rats.It also remarkably inhibited CPK or LDH release from mvocardial cells. In addition, Zhigancao decoction at doses of 2,4,and 8g/L appeared to increase the activity of SOD and decrease the level of MDA in myocardial tissue. All these effects were similar to those of verapamil(0.5μmol/L).

摘要:The investigation has shown that Fuling decoction (FLD) has and Excellent protective effect on drug-induced gastric lesions when orally given at dosages of 500,1000 and 2000mg/Kg (P<0.05 or P<0.01). FLD at high dose appears to be better than cimetidine for hydrochloric acid-induced model and absolute ethyl alco-hol-induced model. However,it is not as good as cimetidine for aspirin-induced model. The investigation indicates that the protective effect of FLD to gastric mucosa might be more important than the inhibition to secretion of gastric acid.

摘要:Tongjing pill is a Chinese traditional patent medicine.Significant inhi bitory action of Tongjing pill was observed on isolated uterus in rats and guinea pigs, and on uterus in situ or uterus with fistula in rabbits. The inhibition of Tongiing pill on uterus was characterized by lowering contraction frequency and amplitude, and tension of uterine smooth muscles. Tongjing pill could also antagonize PGF2α-induced spaxm in the isolated uterus from the mouse. These inhibitory effects of Tongiing bill may be correlated to mechanism of its treating primary dysmenorrhea.

摘要:Effects of Xiaochaihu decoction alone and its combination with artemisinin (QHS) on immunological functions were studied in the mice infected with Plasmodium, berghei. The data obtained in this study demonstrated that Xiaochaihu decoction and its combination with QHS exhibited significant immunostimulation on humoral, nonspecific and red cell immunities. However, the con A-induced lymphoblastic transformation was remarkably depressed by the decoction and its combination.  
摘要:Using reversal HPLC, yields of ferulic acid isolated from Danggui Buxue decoction(DBD)with various proporations of its two ingredients,Radix Angelicae Sinensis(RAS)and Radix Astragali(RAH),were comparatively estimated.Furthermore,effects of extracts from DBD with different ingredient pro-porations on phagocytic function and immune organs were also explored in mice.The highest yield of ferulic acid was obtained when a classical ratio of RAS and RAH(1:5) in DBD was adopted.The yield of ferulic acid from DBD with a 1:5 or a 5:1 ratio between RAS and RAH was much higher than that with a 1:1 ratio of t he two ingredients. Pharmacological data showed that efficacy of in-creasing clearance index(K)and phagocytic index(α)by DBD with the 1:5 ratio of RAS and RAH was more potent than that by DBD with other ratios ofthe two ingredients.

摘要:In this randonuzed trial,446 patients with hyperlipidemia,who was also diagnosed as hypofunction and disorder of Spleen and abundant expectoration by traditional Chinese medicine,were divided into two groups:Xuezhikang capsule-treated group having 324 patients and Jiaogulan tablet-treated group as a control with 122 patients. At the end of 8 weeks’treatment,the total effective rate of the capsule was 79.7%, where as the tablet was 31.2%. Xuezhikang significantly reduced TC by 23.0% and TG by 36.5%,and raised HDL-C by 19.6%(P<0.001).Jiaogulan aslo improved TC,TG and HDL-C markedly.Comparing the two groups in the total effective rate and the improvement of TC TG and HDL-C,the effect of Xuezhikang capsule was found to be superior to fhat of Jiaogulan(P<0.001).Results indicated that Xuezhikang is an effective and safety preparation.
