S'appuyant sur la théorie du célèbre académicien Zhang Bao-li sur la maladie du « fluide humide et de la stagnation phlegmique », le mécanisme de l'insuffisance cardiaque et de son traitement est exposé sur la base de la relation « rate-mitochondrie ». L'analyse de la relation étroite entre la « rate-mitochondrie » et la « maladie du fluide humide et de la stagnation phlegmique », ainsi que de l'association étroite entre ces deux éléments et le développement de l'insuffisance cardiaque, est effectuée. Une étude plus approfondie de la relation entre les fonctions de la rate et des mitochondries dans la théorie de la médecine chinoise est entreprise, selon laquelle la fonction principale de la rate dans la transformation et la digestion est similaire au métabolisme des substances et à la conversion d'énergie des mitochondries, et une rate déficiente est étroitement liée à des perturbations des fonctions des mitochondries. Sur cette base, le métabolisme des substances et la conversion d'énergie des mitochondries sont considérés comme l'essence microscopique de la fonction transformatrice de la rate, et un dysfonctionnement des mitochondries est un facteur pathologique des produits associés à la maladie du fluide humide et à la stagnation phlegmique, étroitement lié à l'apparition de l'insuffisance cardiaque. Le fluide, la stagnation, le phlegme, la boisson, sont tous des symptômes interdépendants générés par une anomalie dans la transformation des fluides, ce sont des facteurs de l'occurrence de l'insuffisance cardiaque, tout en étant la base pathologique principale de la détérioration de l'insuffisance cardiaque. Par conséquent, dans le traitement de l'insuffisance cardiaque, il convient également de réguler les fonctions des mitochondries. Au stade précoce, il est nécessaire de décharger activement l'humidité, de disperser la stagnation, d'améliorer les fonctions des mitochondries, de rétablir un métabolisme énergétique normal dans l'organisme ; aux stades intermédiaire et tardif, le traitement doit se concentrer sur l'évacuation du phlegme, de l'inhibition de la stase sanguine, de la réchauffement et de l’élimination de l'humidité, tout en réduisant les lésions des mitochondries et améliorant les fonctions cardiaques ; le rétablissement du qi, l'amélioration des fonctions de la rate doit être constant tout au long du traitement, pour améliorer les fonctions des mitochondries et ainsi stabiliser l'état de la maladie, et améliorer le pronostic. Ce document, basé sur la relation entre la rate et les mitochondries, examine le mécanisme de la survenue de l'insuffisance cardiaque, ainsi que le traitement par étapes sur la base de la théorie du « fluide humide et de la stagnation phlegmique », enrichit la théorie de la maladie du « fluide humide et de la stagnation phlegmique », fournissant de nouvelles stratégies pour le traitement de l'insuffisance cardiaque. Cependant, dans l'application pratique, les stratégies de la médecine chinoise pour le traitement de l'insuffisance cardiaque nécessitent l'utilisation de moyens de médecine moderne pour fournir une base scientifique plus solide pour le traitement de l'insuffisance cardiaque.
