대장암(CRC)은 가장 흔한 암 중 하나로, 다양한 암 중 발생률이 높으며 전 세계 암 환자의 두 번째 사망 원인입니다. CRC는 초기에는 특이적인 증상이 부족하며 대부분 환자가 중기 또는 말기에 진단되어 현재 소화기계 종양 분야에서 주요 연구 주제입니다. 현재 임상에서 CRC 수술 치료는 위험이 높고 전이, 재발, 약물 내성 및 방사선화학요법의 부작용 문제가 여전히 흔합니다. 중의학의 발전과 응용으로 인해 중약 및 그 활성 성분이 다중 표적, 다단계, 다중 효과를 통해 CRC 세포 증식, 침습, 이동 및 혈관 신생을 효과적으로 억제하고 CRC 세포의 세포자멸사 및 자가포식을 촉진하여 CRC 진행을 늦추는 것으로 밝혀졌으며, 이는 현재 CRC 치료 연구의 초점입니다. 단삼(Salvia miltiorrhiza)은 활혈거어, 통경지통, 청심제번, 냉혈소옹 등의 효능이 있으며, 디터페노이드, 페놀산, 플라보노이드, 다당류 및 질소 함유물, 스테로이드, 락톤 등 다양한 화학 성분을 함유하고 있습니다. 본 논문은 단삼 및 그 활성 성분의 항CRC 분자 기전에 대해 종합적으로 고찰하였으며, 단삼 및 그 활성 성분이 CRC 세포 주기 차단, 세포자멸사 촉진, 세포 침습 및 이동 억제, 세포 자가포식 유도, 종양 혈관 신생 억제 및 종양 미세환경 재구성 등 여러 분자 기전을 통해 항CRC 효과를 발휘함을 밝혔다. 이는 단삼을 이용한 CRC 치료제 개발 및 임상 실천에 새로운 아이디어를 제공하는 것을 목표로 합니다.
