Дуньхуанские рукописи "Фуцзин Цзюэ" основывают теорию составления рецептов на "Картине терапии жидкостей и отваров", их теория применения лекарств включает основные принципы "принцип补泻 пяти элементов" и "принцип除化 на основе пяти элементов". На основе диагностики虚实 пяти органов, гибко используются свойства тела, применения и преобразования вкусов для補泻 терапии, что является уникальным способом назначения лекарств. В болезни Тайин часто встречаются симптомы "пищеварительного расстройства" вместе с "диареей"; эти два симптома являются основными показаниями для рецептов философии Личжун: рецепт Личжунван (отвар) направлен на虚泰инь, рецепты Сансясинтан (半夏泻心汤,甘草泻心汤,生姜泻心汤) подходят для虚 с совмещенной邪实, рецепты Сыницзян Тан и Тунмай Сыницзян Тан лечат диарею, вызванную нарушением функции печени, селезенки и почек, а также дисфункцией клапанов.
