Effect of Yangxue Shengru oral liquid on uterins involution during puerperium was observed.The clinical findings demonstrated that the oral liquid was able to promote uterine involution during puerperium

to decrease the amount of lochial hemorrahge and the incidence of other complications such as puerperious infections

constipation and mastitis

and to stimulate immunological functions. In addition

the oral liquid was found to stirnulate isolated uterus from mice during puerperium

leading to increase of contractility and contraction frequency.
