Effects of Pairs of Drugs in Guizhi Decoction on Dual-Directional Thermoregulation
In order to explore the mechanism of the composition of Guizhi decoction(GZD)
effects of five pairs of five pairs of drugs in GZD on dual-directional thermoregulation were observed.Result showed that the pair of Ramulus Cinnamoni and Radix Paeoniae could only elevate the body tempreture in bypothermic animals
and the pair of Radix paeoniae and Radix Glycyrrhizae had antipyretic effect of in ferile body
Ramulus Cinnamoni or Radix Paeoniae alone was found to have the effect of dual-directional thermoregulation
but no additive or synergetic effect was seen when Ramulus Cinnamoni or Radix Paeoniae was combined with Rhizoma Zingiberis Recens
Radix Glycyrrhizae
or Fructus Jujubae respectively
even when Ramulus Cinnamoni and Radix Paeoniae were combined.
