Objective:To observe the effect of the therapeutic principle of Waisan Neixi on C-reactive protein in patients with stroke.Method: One hundred and twenty-two stroke patients with acute phase wind syndrome were randomly divided into the control group and the observation group.The two groups were treated by basic intervention for 14-28 d.In addition to the basic intervention

the control group was adopted a simple Pinggan Xifeng treatment by the prescription of Tianma Goutengyin.While the observation group was received the therapeutic principle of Waisan Neixi with Shuangjie Tang.The Drink and the Tang were given one dose daily for 14 days.Result: Compared with the control group

the observation group showed early significant improvement on the Wind Syndrome

and decreased the level of C-reactive protein（CRP）（P<0.05）.Conclusion: Stroke patients in the acute phase with wind syndrome are affected by the external wind factors.The therapeutic principle of Waisan Neixi can improve the scores of wind syndrome

and reduce the inflammatory response at early stage.
