Influence of Gorgon Polysaccharide on Athletic Ability and Myocardial Antioxidant Capacity in Exhausted Rats
Objective:to investigate the effect of gorgon polysaccharide on the rat’s sports ability and myocardial oxidation resistance ability.Method: Rats were divided into control group and low-dosage
medium-dosage and high-dosage groups.gorgon polysaccharide solution of 100

300 mg · kg-1·d-1 was given for 21 days.The exhaustive swimming time was observed
the content of superoxide dismutase(SOD)
malondialdehyde(MDA) and glutathione peroxidase(GSH-Px) was assayed.Result: Gorgon polysaccharide could lengthen the exhaustive swimming time and reduce the content of MDA and increase the content of SOD
MDA and GSH-Px.Conclusion:Gorgon polysaccharide has obvious function on increasing sports ability and myocardial oxidation resistance ability.
