Objective:To study Didang decoction on effect of tumor necrosis factor-α（TNF-α） and interleukin-6（IL-6）

immunoglobulin G（IgG） levels of tissue homogenate in chronic prostatitis rats.Method:Divide 50 rats into 5 groups

the black contrast group（distilled water 10 mL · kg-1）

model contrast group（distilled water 10 mL · kg-1）

Didang decoction high-dose（16.2 g · kg-1） and low-dose（8.1 g · kg-1） groups

Yang contrast group（Qian liekang 0.5 g · kg-1）.The black contrast group was injected with Nacl into prostates by 0.1 mL.The other groups were injected with Xiaozhiling into the prostates by 0.1 mL.All of the groups were injected the stomach with the medicines one time everyday at the same time when models had been made.Testing tissue homogenate TNF-α

IgG after 5 weeks.Result: Comparying with the model contrast group

Didang decoction high-dose group is significantly descreased（P<0.05）.Conclusion: Didang decoction can improve the immune function

inhibiting the inflammatory reaction.
