Determination of polysaccharide , amino acid and mannose contents in the five kinds of Dendrobium.
Objective To compare the chemical compositions in the five kinds of Dendrobium. Methods Polysaccharide
mannose and amino acid in the five Kinds of Dendrobium were determined and compared. Results The polysaccharide contents
the amino acid contents and the mannose contents are remarkably different in the five kinds of Dendrobium. The content of polysaccharide in the Dendrobium officinnle is highedest in the five kinds of Dendrobium; The content of amino acid in the Dendrobium finbristun is higher than other four kinds of Dendrobium; the mannose contents of Dendrobium officinnle is much more higher than other kinds. Conclusion The quantity and contents of polysaccharide
amino acid and the mannose are remarkably different in the five kinds of Dendrobium. However
D1candidum officinnle has a higher quality than other four kinds of Dendrobium in terms of the same chemical compositions1.
