Analysis of Effect of Traditional Chinese Medicine Combined with Western Medicine Comprehensive Regimen in Treatment of Infantile Cerebral Palsy with Epilepsy
Objective:To explore the effect of seaweed adjustable acorus calamus umbilical compress therapy combined with oxcarbazepine in the treatment of cerebral palsy epilepsy in children. Method: All 126 cases of children with cerebral palsy and epilepsy who treated in our hospital were randomly divided into the observation group and the control group
63 cases in each group. The patients in control group were treatmented by oxcarbazepine
the patients in observation group were treatmented by Chinese medicine umbilical based on theoxcarbazepine therapy
the clinical efficacy and adverse reaction of two groups of patients were compared after treatment. Result: The frequency of epileptic seizures and epilepsy symptom of two group of patients who treatment after 3 months were comparied
the difference was not statistically significant: the clinical efficacy and adverse reaction of two groups of patients who treatment for 6 months were comparied
difference has statistics significance (P<0.05); The incidence of adverse reactions in patients of observation group were 5 cases
the incidence of adverse reactions in patients of control group were 4 cases. The incidence of adverse reactions in two groups of patients was compared
the difference was not statistically significant (χ2=0.120
P=0.729). Conclusion: Combination of traditional Chinese and Western medicine treatment can improve symptoms in children more effectively than simple western medicine treatment
