Program of Xinjikang for Acute Viral Myocarditis in Patients with ECG and Holter Efficacy
Objective: To evaluate Xinjikang program efficacy in improving acute viral myocarditis in patients with electrocardiograph(ECG) and Holter. Method : One hundred and sixty-one acute viral myocarditis patients in Henan Province Chinese Medicine Hospital
Heilongjiang Provincial Academy of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)
Longhua Hospital Affiliated to Shanghai University of TCM
met the inclusion criteria
and does not meet the exclusion criteria
were randomly divided into treatment and control groups. Treatment group on the basis of measures Xinjikang program
the control group using conventional western medicine treatment on the basis of measures with curative course of 30 d. The efficacy of the patient ’s ECG and Holter indicators was observed and recorded by the application of statistical methods. Result : The comparison of two sets of ECG ST-segment efficiency showed that the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The comparison of two groups before treatment and the group of dynamic electrocardiogram normal rate in the first 30 days showed that the difference was not statistically significant. The two groups before treatment
the comparison between the treatment of the first 30 days the premature views group
the difference was not statistically significant. Before treatment and 30 days premature difference in the number of group
the difference was not statistically significant. No significant differences between the two groups before treatment and the groups of premature number within 30 days were found. Conclusion : TCM treatment can effectively improve viral myocarditis in patients with ECG ST-segment changes
and it is better than Western conventional treatment. In the aspects of premature number of reduction
the two groups before and after treatment were not statistically significant. The two groups failed to reduce premature times indicates that it may be related to the small sample size.
