Objective:To investigate the chemical constituents from Spatholobus sinensis. Method: The chemical constituents were isolated by solvent and chromatography methods. The structures were identified on the basis of chemical methods and spectroscopic evidence. Result: Eight compounds were identified as zizyvoside Ⅰ ( 1 )

lupeol ( 7 ) and β-sitosterol ( 8 ). Conclusion: Among these compounds

compound 2 was new

and compounds 7

8 were isolated from S. sinensis for the first time; compounds 1

3-6 were isolated from the genus Spatholobus for the first time.
