Optimization of Ultrahigh Pressure Extraction Technology of Baicalin from by Box-Behnken Design
Objective:To optimize ultrahigh pressure extraction (UPE) process of baicalin from Scutellaria baicalensis by Box-Behnken design. Method: With yield of baicalin as index
influence of extraction pressure
extraction times
liquid-solid ratio and other factors on UPE of S. baicalensis was investigated by single factor test;Box-Behnken design was employed to optimize extraction technology parameters with ethanol concentration
liquid-solid ratio and extraction pressure as independent variables. Result: Optimum extraction technology conditions were as following:extracted 10 s with 100 times the amount of 72% ethanol by extraction pressure of 100 MPa
yield of baicalin was 102.65 mg·g-1. Conclusion: Optimized technology had higher yield
lower extracting temperature
shorter extacting time and less power consumption
it was suitable for industrial production of S. baicalensis.
