Objective: To optimize extracting technology of costunolide and dehydrocostus lactone from Aucklandia lappa. Method: With extraction rate of costunolide and dehydrocostus as indexes
extraction method was screened by single factor test;With extraction rate of costunolide and dehydrocostus as indexes
orthogonal test was used to evaluate effect of 4 factors on extracting technology
including solid-liquid ratio
the concentration of ethanol
extraction time and times. Result: The best extraction method was ethanol warm immersion method
optimum extracting technology was as follows:warm immersion extracted 2 times with 6 times the amount of 90% ethanol
respectively
extraction time of 2 hours.Extraction rate of costunolide and dehydrocostus lactone were 92.3
94.1%
respectively
and extract yield was12.7%. Conclusion: This optimized extracting technology was stable and feasible with high extraction rate of two kinds lactone from A. lappa
