and summed up the characteristics and applicable range of each method. The making methods of constipation model were various

but that methods and observation index of constipation models were not in-depth. Detection technology of modern biochemical

molecular and cellular should be used for exploring constipation mechanism. The design thoughts of the models should conform to clinical constipation pathogenesis

and then the evaluation standards of specific constipation model should be found

that can provide convenience for the innovative research of constipation models and research and development of treating constipation medicines.
