Comparison of Traditional and Modern Extraction Methods for Yinchenhao Prescription
Objective: To determine optimum extraction technology by comparing traditional and modern extraction methods of Yinchenhao prescription. Method: Based on traditional decoction of Yinchenhao prescription
the content of index components were determined by UV spectrophotometry
with composite score of total chlorogenic acid
total iridoid glycosides
total anthraquinones and total polysaccharides as index
extraction technology of Yinchenhao prescription was optimized by single factor test and orthogonal test. Result: Optimum extraction process was as following:extracted 3 times with 12
8
6 times the amount of water
extraction time of 1
1
0.5 h
respectively; Then extracted 2 times with 6 times the amount of 80% ethanol
0.5 h per time. Conclusion: Different extraction methods had significant effects on the content of active ingredients in Yinchenhao prescription
two-step extraction method was better than other methods in extracting active ingredients from Yinchenhao prescription
and it was stable and feasible
it could provide experimental basis for reasonable application and further study of in Yinchenhao prescription.
