Optimization of Alternative Method Instead of Traditional Processing Methods for by GC-MS
Objective: To optimize alternative method instead of traditional processing methods of Curcumae wenyujin. Method: Fresh crude Curcumae wenyujin was sliced and dealt with different drying methods
such as infrared drying
microwave drying and different temperature drying method.Volatile oil was extracted by steam distillation
and chemical compoents was analyzed by GC-MS.Drying rate of processed products
yield of volatile oil and the content of each ingredients from volatile oil were compared with traditional processing methods. Result: With the mass fraction of each ingredients from volatile oil as index
infrared drying method was closest to traditional processing methods of C. wenyujin;Therefore with yield of volatile oil as index
40℃ drying herbs was closest to traditional processing methods of C. wenyujin. Conclusion: The best alternative method for traditional processing method of C. wenyujin was infrared drying method
but yield of volatile oil was slightly less than traditional method.
