Objective:To determine the content of chlorogenic acid

4-O-dicaffeoylquinic acid
3
5-O-dicaffeoylquinic acid in Chrysanthemi Indici Flos of different areas. Method: HPLC was used. The chromatographic separation was performed on a Diamonsil C18(4.6 mm × 250 mm
5 μm) column eluted with gradient mobile phase of methanol-0.1%H3PO4
the detection wavelength was set at 326 nm and column temperature was set at 25 ℃. Result: Nice linear relation between the area and content when the amount was within 1.00-20.00

2.233-44.66 mg·L-1.The recoveries were 98.97%
99.14% and 99.39% respectively
RSD was 1.81%
1.66% and 1.36% (n=6) respectively. Conclusion: The method is accurate
reproducible and suitable to determine these active components in Chrysanthemi Indici Flos. It can be used for quality control of Chrysanthemi Indici Flos.
