Simultaneous Determination of Dopamine Hydrochloride and Salsolinol in Radix Aconite Lateralis by HPLC
Objective:To establish a HPLC method for simultaneous determination of dopamine hydrochloride and salsolinol in Radix Aconite Lateralis. Method:The separation was carried on an Agilent Eclipse C18 column(4.6 mm×250 mm
5 μm)with 0.1% H3PO4 as mobile phase at a flow rate of 1 mL·min-1. The column temperature was set at 35℃ and the detector wavelength was at 280 nm. Result:Dopamine hydrochloride and salsolinol were all well separated from other substances and their UV spectrums were essentially the same to the standards. The liner ranges of dopamine hydrochloride and salsolinol were 0.005 21-0.521 μg
0.005 24-0.524 μg. The average recoveries were 100.6% and 96.5%;RSD were 2.0% and 1.0% (n=6). Conclusion:This method is rapid and accurate and is suitable for quality control of Radix Aconite Lateralis.
