Determination of Psoralen and Isopsoralen in LBSP by HPLC
Objective: To develop an HPLC method for determination of the content of psoralen and isopsoralen in Longbishu pills(LBSP). Method: An C18 column was used as the chromatographic column.The mobile phase consisted of methanol-0.02 mol·L-1 Sodium Dihydrogen Phosphate Solution (45: 55)
the flow rate was 1.0 mL ·min-1.The UV detection wavelength was at 246 nm. Result: There was a good linear relationship between the concentration of psoralen and peak area value when the concentrations of psoralen was within the range of 0.144 0-0.720 0 μg(r=0.999 8).The average recovery was 99.16%
RSD 1.21%(n=6).There was a good linear relationship between the concentration of isopsoralen and peak area value when the concentrations of isopsoralen was within the range of 0.136 2-0.681 0 μg(r=0.999 8).The average recovery was 98.52%
RSD 1.58%(n=6). Conclusion: The method was accurate
sensitive
reproducible and may be used in the determination of psoralen and isopsoralen in LBSP.
