Clinical Observation on Banxia Xiexin Decoction Combined with Cupping in Treating Gastroesophageal Reflux-related Chronic Cough
Objective: To observe the clinical effects of Banxia Xiexin decoction combined with cupping in treating gastroesophageal reflux-related chronic cough. Method: Sixty cases with gastroesophageal reflux induced cough were randomly divided into two groups: the treatment group treated with of Banxia Xiexin decoction combined with cupping therapy (30 cases)
the control group treated with routine western medicine therapy (30 cases). Result: In the treatment group
13 cases of 30 cases were cured
9 cases were effective
5 cases were improved
the total effective rate being 90%; in the control group 5 cases of 30 cases
were cured
8 cases were markedly effective
6 cases were improved
the total efficiency being 63.3%
there was significant difference between the two groups (P<0.05). Conclusion: Banxia Xiexin decoction combined with cupping in treating gastroesophageal reflux-related chronic cough indicates a significant efficacyl
and can control the development of diseases and improve clinical symptoms.
