Optimization of Matrix Formulation for Cataplasm by Orthogonal Design
Objective:To optimize matrix formulation of Geranium wilfordii cataplasm. Method: With adhesive force
shapability and general sensory as comprehensive evaluation index
ratio of NP700
tartaric acid
PVP-K90 and dihydroxy alumimun aminoacetate were chosen as investigated factors
L9(34) orthogonal experiment was used to evaluate properties of cataplasm with different materials ratio. Result: Optimum matrix formulation of cataplasm was NP700-tartaric acid-PVP K90-dihydroxy alumimun aminoacetate 7.5∶0.4∶3∶0.05. Conclusion: This optimized formulation was feasible and stable with better performance.
