Clinical Observation of Jieyu Dingji Decoction on Arrbythmia of Yang and Middle-aged Women
Objective: This clinical study aims to investigate the effects of Jieyu Dingji decoction on the arrhythmia of young and middle-aged women. Method: Sixty young and middle-aged women with ventricular premature beats or superaventricular premature beats were chosen and randomized into treatment group and control group with thirty people respectively. The treatment group was treated with Jieyu Dingji decoction and metoprolol
and the control group was treated with placebo and metoprolol. The efficacy
side effects and recrudescence of the two groups were then investigated. Result: The symptoms and the ambulatory electrocardiographs of both groups were improved after therapy. However
the efficacy of the treatment group was superior to the control group (P<0.05)
and the recrudescence of the treatment group was less than the control group (P<0.05). Neither of the groups shows adverse events. Conclusion: Jieyu Dingji decoction is effective and safe to treat young and middle-aged women with arrhythmia. It provides an innovated way for the clinical medication.
