Pharmacodynamic Effect of Mayinglong Eye Cream in Rats
Objective: To explore the effects of Mayinglong eye cream on infraorbital dark circles. Method: The right rear toes of SD-rats were hypodermic injected with carrageenan and then coated with Mayinglong eye cream in different quality percentage (2%
1%
0.5%) to observe toe swell at different times and toe weight before and after drug administration. Anti-inflammatory effect of Mayinglong eye cream was evaluated. The blood flow of auricle of SD-rats was monitored by Peri Cam PSI system. The effect of Mayinglong eye cream on regional blood flow of auricle skin surface was observed. Result: Mayinglong eye cream showed effects of anti-inflammation and reduced regional blood flow. Conclusion: Mayinglong eye cream could improve infraorbital dark circles via the effect of reducing blood flow and anti-inflammation.
