Effect of Fuzheng Jiedu Granula on Urinary Micro-protein and Urinary Enzyme in Rats Exposed to Nickel
Objective: To study the effect of Fuzheng Jiedu granula(FJG) on the renal injury in rats exposed to nickel sulfate(NiSO4). Method: Fifty Wistar rats were made into nephrotoxicity models by intraperitoneal injection of NiSO4 (2.5 mg·kg-1·d-1).They were randomized into 5 groups
model group
high dose of FJG group(20 g·kg-1·d-1)
middle dose of FJG group(10 g·kg-1·d-1)
low dose of FJG group(5 g·kg-1·d-1)
meso-2
3-dimercaptosuccinic acid(DMSA) group(0.05 g·kg-1·d-1). Twenty Wistar rats were divided into NS group and FJG control group(10 g·kg-1·d-1) randomly. The rats in each group were treated with intragastric administration once every day for four weeks. Urinary α1-microglobulin(α1-MG)
urinary N-acetyl-β-D-glucosaminidase(NAG) and urinary creatinine were detected by radioimmunity assay(RIA)
photoelectric colorimetry assay and enzymic assay
respectively. Result: In NiSO4 group
urinary α1-MG and NAG activity(NAG/ UCr) were increased remarkably(P<0.05
P<0.01). Compared with that of NiSO4 group
the indexes montioned above in FJG groups decreased obviously(P<0.05
P<0.01). Conclusion: Urinary α1-MG and NAG activity enhancement could be correlated with nickel-induced nephrotoxicity. FJG could protect rats from the renal injury induced by nickel.
