Glycyrrhiza Radix et Rhizoma was determined by HPLC method. Method: HPLC Separation was achieved on a Agenlit PAK-C18 (4.6 mm×250 mm

5 μm) column as fixed phase and methanol-0.2 mol·L-1 ammonium acetate buffer [0.2 mol·L ammonium acetate-Acetic anhydride(33∶1)] (62∶38) as mobile phase was adopted. The flow rate of 1.0 mL·min-1 and the detective wave length was 250 nm.Column temperature 30 ℃. Result: The linearity range was 0.039 74-3.972 μg(r=0.999 9)

the average recovery of was hesperidin was 101.8%

RSD 1.4%(n=9). Conclusion: The established HPLC method is simple

accurate and repeatable and sensitive. It is can be used for quality control of Xiaoyao pills.
