Objective: The chromatographic fingerprint of Senecio cannabifoliuswas established
which created a new method for evaluating and controlling the quality. Method: HPLC analysis was carried out on Agilent Zorbax SB-C18 column (4.6 mm×250 mm
5 μm)
with a mobile phase of acetonitrile-1% trifluoroacetic acid system (gradient elution). The detection wavelength was set at 254 nm and flow rate was 1.0 mL·min-1. Column temperature was set at 30℃. The obtained data was analyzed by computer aided similarity evaluation. Result: Fourteen common peaks were confirmed in fingerprints. The similarity degree of the samples was found to be higher than 0.900. Conclusion: This method is simple
