Chemical Constitutents of Stems and Leaves of in Taibai Mountain
Objective: Constitutents of stems and leaves of Litsea pungens in Taibai Mountain were studied. Method: Compounds were isolated by silica gel column chromatography
and purified by recrystallization. Their structures were identified by physicochemical properties and spectra analysis. Result: Five chemical compounds were obtained and identified as β-sitosterol (1)
palmitic acid (2)
pinocembrin (3)
apigenin (4)
isoquercitrin (5). Conclusion: Compounds 1
2
4 and 5 were isolated from this plant for the first time. Compounds 2
4 and 5 were isolated from the genus for the first time.
