Objective: To optimize polishing process of Yizheng Huomai concentrated pill. Method: The concentration of ethanol
the amount of ethanol
loading of basic pill
rotational speed of coating pot
dosage of activated carbon and blow-dry time after rotation were selected as factors
L8(2)7 orthogonal test was used to optimize polishing process with moisture content after polishing and appearance of pill as indexes. Result: Optimum polishing process was:250 mL35% ethanol
loading of basic pill 12 kg/pot
rotational speed of coating pot 35 r·min-1
the amount of activated carbon 0.3%
blow-dry time 30 min. Conclusion: This optimized technology was stable
