Simultaneous Determination of Three Active Ingredients in Wujia Shenghua Capsule by HPLC
Objective: To establish a HPLC method for simultaneous determination of chlorogenic acid
ferulic acid and isofraxidine in Wujia Shenghua capsules. Method : The chromatographic separation was performed on a Welch Materials XBP-C18 column (4.6 mm×250 mm
5 μm)
the column temperature was maintained at 25 ℃. The UV detection wavelengths were at 327

343 nm. A gradient elution of methanol- 0.1% phosphoric acid aqueous solution was adopted at the flow rate of 1 mL·min-1. The injection volume was 20 μL. Result: The good resolution can be achieved among chlorogenic acid
ferulic acid and isofraxidine. Chlorogenic acid
ferulic acid and isofraxidine were linear in the range of 18.15-108.90 mg·L-1 (r=0.999 8)
5.10-30.60 mg·L-1 (r=0.999 5) and 7.35-44.10 g·L-1 (r=0.999 4)
respectively. The average recoveries (n=6) were between 95% and 105%. Conclusion: The method is accurate
easy and reproducible
which can be applied to quality control of Wujia Shenghua capsule.
