The Protectiv Effect of Sanhua Tang on Blood Brain Barrier Injury in Cerebral Ischemia-reperfusion Rat
Objective: To observe the protective effect of Sanhua Tang on blood brain barrier injury in cerebral ischemia-reperfusion rat. Method: The rats were randomly dividec into sham operation group
model group
low dose group of Sanhua Tang
high dose group of Sanhua Tang and nimodipine group. Blocking middle cerebral artery of rat with suture method was used to prepare cerebral ischemia reperfusion model. The content of EB in rat brain tissue was detected by colorimetry. The content of S100B protein was detected in serum of cerebral ischemia-reperfusion rat by enzyme linked immunoassay. Result: In sham operation group the content of EB
S100B protein was decreased. The content of EB
S100B protein in model operation group was significantly increased(P<0.01);compared with model operation group
in drug group the content of EB
S100B protein was significantly decreased(P<0.05); in large dose group of Sanhua Tang and nimodipine group the content of EB
S100B protein was more significantly reduced than other groups(P<0.05). Conclusion: Sanhua Tang can protect blood brain barrier injury of cerebral ischemia reperfusion rat.
