Objective: To optimize conditions and parameters of purification and separation technology for total flavonoids from Sarcandra glabra with HPD-600 macroporous resin. Method: By using the content and recovery rate of total flavonoids from S. glabra as indexes
effect and factors of purification and separation technology were investigated. Result: Optimum purification technology was:pH of sample was 5.0
the concentration of total flavonoids was 15-20 g·L-1
proportion of sample solution and resin was 10∶1
eluted with deionized water of 3 BV
eluted with 70% ethanol of 3 BV
purity of total flavonoids from extract was more than 80% and transfer rate was more than 85%. Conclusion: HPD-600 resin had a better purifying effect on total flavonoids from S. glabra
