Optimization of Extraction Technology for Fufang Sihuang Suppository
Objective:To optimize preparation technology of Fufang Sihuang suppository. Method:To improve extraction rate of active ingredients
technology was divided into alcohol extraction Ⅰand alcohol extraction Ⅱ
while single-factor test and orthogonal test was adopted to optimize preparation conditions which 70% ethanol used as extraction solvent
by using berberine as qualitycontrol criteria of alcohol extractionⅠand baicalin as qualitycontrol criteria of alcohol extraction Ⅱ to optimize extraction technology. Result:Optimum technology for alcohol extraction Ⅰwas as follows:extracted 3 times with 8

6 times the amount of 70% ethanol
extracted 1 h each time. Optimum technology for alcohol extraction Ⅱ was as follows:extracted three times with adding 8 times the amount of 70% ethanol for 1 h each time at 80 ℃. Conclusion:This extraction process was reasonable
practicable
high extraction rate of active ingredients
it could provide a reference for production of Fufang Sihuang suppository.
