Extraction Technology of Flavonoid in Mongolian Medicine and Its Antioxidative Activation
Objective:To study the antioxidant activity of total flavonoids from the aerial parts of Artemisia frigida. Method: Effect of the total flavonoids on clearance rate of superoxide anion O-2 ·
hydroxyl radical ·OH and DPPH · were determined with rutin and Vc as positive control. Result: The total flavonoids have free radical scavenging capacity to some extent
and have higher activity than that of Vc and rutin on hydroxyl radicals ·OH
DPPH · and O-2 · scavenging. Conclusion: The total flavonoids from the aerial parts of A. frigida have substantial antioxidant capacity.
