Antitumor Activity and Immunity of Chansha Capsules in Mice
Objective: To investigate the antitumor activity and immunity of Chansha capsules in mice. Method: S180 and H22 tumor-bearing mice model were randomly divided into six groups and given the medicine 10 days
the dosage was 8.6
4.3
2.15 g ·kg-1
respectively. The antitumor effect of Chansha capsules was observed by measuring the weight and inhibition rates of tumor in mice. The immunosuppressional model in mice was established by injecting cuclophosphamide
the effect of Chansha capsules on r immune functions were observed by determining the indexes of spleen and thymus of the model mice. Result: Chansha capsules could significantly inhibit the growth of S180 and H22 tumor-burdened mice. Compared with the normal group
the tumor weight of Chansha capsules group was reduced by 0.3-0.8 g
compared with the positive control group
Chansha capsules group had significant difference (P<0.05)
the results of three repeated experiments were consistent
the inhibition rate of tumor was 19%-46%
18%-40%. Every dose group of Chansha capsules could increase the avoirdupois and index of spleen of the immunosuppressional model in mice. Compared with the normal group
high dose group could obviously prolong the survival time of S180 tumor-bearing model in mice. Conclusion: Chansha capsules can suppress the growth of tumors
improve the immunity of tumor-bearing mice and prolong their survival time to some certain extent.
