Objective: To establish a method for content determination of low molecular weight saccharide from Rhizoma Polygonati and optimize the extraction technology. Method : The content of low molecular weight saccharide was determined by phenol-sulfuric acid method. On the basis of single factor test and orthogonal design test
the extraction process of low molecular weight saccharide from Rhizoma Polygonati was optimized using the content of low molecular weight saccharide as index. Result : The optimum extraction technology condition was as follows: 90 ℃
