Fingerprint Analysis and Chemical Constituent Identification of Extract of Rhizoma Alpiniae Officinarum
Objective: To establish the method of fingerprint analysis of the extract of galangal and identify its chemical constituents. Method: HPLC analysis was performed on an SunfireTMC18 (4.6 mm×200 mm
5 μm) column with the acetonitrile-0.1% HCOOH gradient. Fingerprint was finished in 60 min. The flow rate was 1.0 mL·min-1.The monitoring wavelength was at 208 nm. The column temperature was at 30 ℃. The major components were identified by UPLC/Q-TOF MS. Result: Ten common peaks were separated on the fingerprint
12 compounds were identified from the extract. Conclusion: The method is reliable
accurate and can be used as a quality control method for the extract of galangal.
