Abstract
Objective: To establish a microwave-assisted extraction(MAE)method for the extraction of the baicalin from Scutellaria baicalensis. Comparison of the determination of baicalin from S. baicalensis between MAE and Chinese pharmacopeia method. Method: Dikma Diamonsil C18 column(4.6 mm×150 mm
5 μm)was used. The mobile phase of methanol-water-phosphoric acid (47 ∶53 ∶0.2). The temperature of column was 30 ℃. The flow rate was 1.0 mL·min-1 and the detection wavelength was at 280 nm. Result: Microwave extractive time was 15 min
the temperature was 120 ℃
the extraction solvent was 60%ethanol.The calibration curve was in good linearity with in the range from 0.059 to 0.59 μg(r=0.999 9). The average recovery was 99.36% ( n =6). Conclusion: The method is simple
rapid
as well as precise and reliable
and can be used for the determination of baicalin in S. baicalensis.
