Influences of Compound Prescription Capsule of Silkworm Powder on Glycometablism and Lipid Metabolism in Type 2 Diabetic Rat
Objective: To observe the influences of Compound Prescription Capsule of Silkworm Powder(CCSP) on glycometablism and lipid metabolism in type 2 diabetic rat. Method : Male Sprague-Dawley rat model of type 2 diabetes was induced by high-fat diet and low dose streptozotocin (STZ). Seventy-two model rats were separated according to plasma glucose levels into models
normal control group
model group
low dose group
middle dose group
high dose group and Acarbose tablets group. After 6 weeks
all animals were tested respectively the levels of fasting plasma glucose (FPG) and fasting insulin (FINS)
cholesterol (TC)
triglyceride (TG)
low density lipoprotein-cholesterol (LDL-C)
high density lipoprotein-cholesterol (HDL-C)
malonaldehyde (MDA)
superoxide dismutase (SOD). Result : Compared with model group. Low
middle and high doses of CCSP could remarkably lower the levels of FPG

TC
LDL-C and MDA
obviously improve the Home-IR
