Characteristic Drought-resistant between Different Regions of
Objection: To simulate solution drought stress conditions with 20% PEG (6000) to research characteristic drought-resistant of Scutellaria baicalensis seeds from different regions in response to drought stress. Method: The seeds of S. baicalensis from different regions was treated with 20% PEG respectively. Germination rate

the fresh weight of seedlings and the length of the organs. The seeds were classified by software SPSS13.0 for Windows. And we analyzed the activities of protective enzymes of two seeds
which have significant difference. Result: PEG treatments had different influence on the germination rate and the growth of the seedlings of S. baicalensis from different regions. Clustering results showed the seeds from longxi
were drought-resistant. But the seeds from weinan were weak in drought-resistant and their CAT activity was significant increased after stress. Conclusion: The characteristic drought-resistant between different regions of Scutellaria baicalensis could be different.
