Abstract
Objective: To observe anti-cold diarrhea effect of Aconiti Lateralis Radix Praeparata on mice with spleen Yang deficiency syndrome. Method: Mice were fed with decoction of Sennae Folium for 29 days to induce the model of spleen Yang deficiency syndrome. After modeling
Aconiti Lateralis Radix Praeparata suspension was given(in the doses of 0.42
0.84
1.68 g ·kg-1) for 10 days. After treatment
small intestinal propulsion rate (by charcoal powder propelling experiment)
survival time under -10 ℃ (by cold tolerance experiment) and anoxia condition (anoxia tolerance experiment) were recorded
respectively. The effects of three dosages of Aconiti Lateralis Rradix Praeparata suspension on small intestinal propulsion
cold tolerance and anoxia tolerance were investigated. Result: After administration of Aconiti Lateralis Radix Praeparata(0.84
1.68 g ·kg-1)
an inhibition of small intestinal propulsion ( P <0.05) and body weight-increasing ( P <0.01) in mice with spleen Yang deficiency were observed when compared with the model group. The survival time under -10 ℃ ( P <0.05) and anoxia condition( P <0.05) were pronouncedly prolonged by the administrating with Aconiti Lateralis Rradix Praeparata at the dose of 1.68 g ·kg-1. Conclusion: Aconiti Lateralis Radix Praeparata has an obvious therapeutic efficacy on mice with spleen Yang deficiency syndrome.
